ABOUT THE PLACEMENT COMMITTEE

The Placement Committee of Teachers Training College (B.Ed.), Aalo is a statutory institutional body constituted in accordance with the Regulatory Ordinances of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Doimukh, and the Normative Directives of ERC-NCTE, New Delhi. The Committee strengthens the professional linkage between the institution and employment sectors in teacher education and allied domains.

Its principal mandate is to coordinate and facilitate placement activities for B.Ed. trainees by ensuring access to opportunities in public, private, and non-governmental educational institutions. It collects trainee profiles, maintains digital placement records, and aligns competencies with employer expectations.

The Committee liaises with District Education Authorities, State Departments, Private Schools, and recruiting agencies to conduct campus drives, workshops, and employability seminars. Collaboration with IQAC helps evaluate placement outcomes and improve institutional performance in line with RGU and NCTE guidelines.

It provides counselling and professional mentoring to outgoing trainees and prepares analytical placement reports for the Principal and Governing Body. Thus, the Placement Committee ensures employability, academic–professional integration, and regulatory compliance.
