The Alumni Committee of Teachers Training College (B.Ed.), Aalo, functions as an institutional statutory body constituted in consonance with the regulatory prescriptions of the Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Doimukh, Itanagar, the affiliating authority, and the Eastern Regional Committee, National Council for Teacher Education (ERC-NCTE), New Delhi, the recognizing body. The Committee is entrusted with the institutional obligation of sustaining a perpetual academic, professional, and socio-cultural interface between the Alma Mater and its graduates, thereby promoting a continuum of educational excellence and collegial solidarity. The Committee operates as an advisory-cum-executive organ for the formulation and implementation of alumni-related policies, maintaining a digitized alumni database, and coordinating with ex-students engaged in diverse pedagogical and administrative domains. It endeavors to institutionalize alumni participation in curriculum enrichment, professional development, educational innovations, and extension services consonant with the institutional vision and the statutory norms of the affiliating and recognizing authorities. The Committee further assumes the responsibility of convening periodic Alumni Conclaves and Interactive Symposia to deliberate upon emerging educational trends, policy realignments, and institutional advancement strategies. It also facilitates mentorship linkages, career guidance sessions, and collaborative outreach initiatives directed towards community empowerment and teacher competency enhancement. In the administrative domain, the Alumni Committee functions under the overarching supervision of the Principal and submits its annual report, inclusive of audited accounts and activity documentation, to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Governing Body for perusal and record. Thus, the Alumni Committee of Teachers Training College (B.Ed.), Aalo, stands as a dynamic statutory mechanism fostering academic reciprocity, institutional sustainability, and professional fellowship in adherence to the directives of RGU and ERC-NCTE.
